NO. 1 | OGGI Why it is Concierge Approved | There is nothing better than authentic Italian! The pasta is made in house & cooked perfectly. The sauces are incredibly flavorful! The Crabmeat Ravioli is divine, as well as the Ricotta & Sun-Dried Tomato Agnolotti, the champagne cream melts in your mouth. Each dish is simplistic, yet it beautiful plated.

NO. 2 | MIDWOOD SMOKEHOUSE Why it is Concierge Approved | You know North Carolina is deeply rooted when it comes to barbeque & Midwood is by far one of Charlotte's Finest. They have all the classics including pulled pork, beef brisket, smoked chicken, ribs & so much more. All the meats melt in your mouth & have that perfect bite. Let's quickly talk about salad. Salad at a Barbeque restaurant you say. Yes! The Midwood Chopped Salad is one of our favorite things & believe it or not there are several videos out there attempting to recreate this delicious salad. While you can select any dressing you prefer, try the Avocado Green Goddess, you will NOT be disappointed. You can even get it with a little pulled pork on top. Yum!!!

NO. 3 | VIVA CHICKEN Why it is Concierge Approved | Viva Chicken has our hearts! Try the stuffed avocado it's served over a bed of salad with quinoa. The Inca Wrap is so delicious with a side of the Plantain FriesThe sauces are what take everything to the next level. Sauces are made fresh daily & there are several flavors! The atmosphere is fun & modern. The outdoor patio is a great place to sit out & enjoy the weather. Even if it is a hot summer day, they have the fans going making it a great place to eat.

NO. 4 | CABO FISH TACO Why it is Concierge Approved | When a restaurant is featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives & tried by Guy Fieri, that is a pretty good sign the food is goooooodddd! The tacos are large, so be careful when ordering...they fill you up quickly & you might need a fork to take in all this goodness. We recommend the Honey Soy Glazed Salmon Tacos & the BBQ Mahi Tacos. Looking to mix it up a little bit, try the Epic Tuna Burrito the flavor combination is so good.

NO. 5 | BIG VIEW DINER Why it is Concierge Approved | We've all been in that dining experience where everyone wants something different. The Big View Diner is a great option, as they have a large menu & there is something for everyone. Let us give you a quick warning before we give you a few of our favs, make sure you save room for dessert. They make all of their sweet treats from scratch. The Big View Chocolate cake is unreal & a must for us! So as we have mentioned in previous blog posts, we are some serious burger & fry girls. They serve half a pound of meat on their burgers & there are flavors for every mood. Yum! The Mediterranean Shrimp Spaghetti, the Greek Meze Platter & the Asian Chicken Wrap are all amazing as well. This is one of those places where you have to keep coming back to try more things!

The wings are heavily touted & we have to say the Smoked Thai Wings really were wonderful! The burgers are delicious. The beer specials are always good. This really is a great place to just come & be!

Known for delicious salads using ingredients from the farm, homemade dressings & fresh proteins. All salads are made any way you like them, prepared in front of you & either chopped or tossed in dressing. Great for a healthy lunch or dinner!

NO. 8 | STONE MOUNTAIN GRILL Why it is Concierge Approved | This lodge like restaurant has a cozy vibe, a great patio & usually they have live music which is a fun touch! Start with the Firecracker Shrimp or the Wild Berry Baked Brie. The burgers & sandwiches are tasty & they have a good variety to choose from. The Lodge Meat Loaf is delicious with pimento cheese added to it & something we had never tried before, but it works. So good!
