Baby Bundles is clothing Newborns With Love and giving back to young Charlotte Moms in such a sweet & thoughtful way!
So first, let us tell you a little about how this organization started and the legacy being built. The concept was conceived from the heartbreak of three very passionate mothers; Cat Long, Emily Harry, and Heather Leavitt. All three had delivered children who were stillborn. They wanted to create an organization to honor the children the three of them never got to love and raise. And so Baby Bundles began.
Baby Bundles provides a bag full of necessities to mothers in need for their newborns. These bags are generally given as these mothers leave the hospital. The contents of each bag are worth about $302, and contact basic essentials like bibs, blankets, onesies, books, etc. It sometimes is the only thing these mothers have for their babies. The beauty of it, it is so much more than that. For so many it is the hope and love these new parents need to continue on their beautiful journey. It helps these families begin parenthood on the right foot.
Baby Bundles offers opportunities to get involved: Volunteers for the Build a Bundle Program and the Warehouse are always needed.
BEANS AND BUNDLES EVENT
On Tuesday, February 28th, we were honored to attend the Baby Bundles | Beans & Bundles event and support such a wonderful organization. We couldn’t be more proud of our friend & co-founder Cat Long. The day was filled with laughter and inspiration, as Molly Grantham, Krista Wilson, Rev. Bill Roth, Stephanie Lewter, Jenni Byrd Grier and Elizabeth Gray spoke. It really was a beautiful event and we can’t wait to attend again next year!
